New (Older Stock) extremely hard-to-find black ribbon for the Commodore MPS803 printer from U.S. seller. Also apparently compatible with some old Brother printer models.Urgent Note: These ribbons are at least 10 years old (and possibly as much as 35 years old) and there is a very good possibility that the ink on these ribbons may be too old or too dry (despite being unopened) to be used effectively. We do believe that these ribbons may be somewhat newer than many of the 1980's era MPS-803 and Brother ribbons because we acquired these in late 2013 from a supplier who had to delay our order by nearly 2 months-- possibly in order to produce them at that time. However, there is a chance the delay in getting them to us resulted from some other factor. We are primarily selling these as collector's items but not for actual usefulness-- although they may work fairly well or somewhat. Some ingenious buyer may be able to figure out a way to re-ink these or possibly reload these ribbons with more contemporary and fresher ribbon material of the same type. Or, such an ingenious buyer may be able to figure out how to unlock the dried-up ink in the existing nylon to make it more usable-- assuming that the ink is in fact dried up.Also, the blue piece may have come detached from the cartridge (unlike the photo) but that shouldn't matter.Price is for one single ribbon.
