It's also MIL-STD-810G and MIL-STD-461F certified, and isshock-resistant as tested by a 4ft drop.All the ports are protected beneath individual plastic covers with rubber seals, as is the DVD drive bay (which, for the record, can be fitted instead with an auxiliary battery to give extended hours of continuous use).
