APPLICATIONThis Belkin PRO Series quality IEEE1284 compliant cable is commonly used in applications to extend the length of existing DB25 cable assemblies. It can also be used as a PC to serial modem cable. All lines are wired straight-through. It is NOT designed to work directly between PCs and printers, or between two PCs.
The extension cable assembly fully supports all of the capabilities ad advantages of the IEEE 1284 parallel standard, including all high-speed and bi-directional data transmissions. It also provides superior performance in all other non-compliant IEEE parallel printer and switchbox applicaations
