This motherboard was the top-of-the-line for the x79 platform. The G.Skill memory heatsinks have been painted red to aesthetically match the build it came from.
The system I was running was watercooled and I therefore am including a Koolance CPU Waterblock. These Koolance waterblocks are quite expensive on their own and can be used on any CPU that is compatible with the x79 platform. Of course, you can easily swap out the waterblock for a traditional heatsink if you don't plan on watercooling.
These parts were gently used (never overclocked) for a couple of years, then stored in a climate-controlled house for the last four years.
This is a great foundation for a new build.
