Up for sale is an old iMac G3 Indigo from 1999! Mac powers up!
(BUYER NOTES!!!)
Very rare occurrences where the hard drive would tick before booting into OS preventing from doing so. I opened it up and cleaned the hard drive and connectors and it hasn’t done it since, this also occurred during the repair disk startup if shutdown improperly, you can cancel this with a mouse before it freezes, since cleaning the connectors and such I haven’t ran into any freezing. The hard drive may be bad since it’s the original hard drive from 1999, things like this happen due to age. But during this time resetting and shutting down haven’t gave any problems!
Disk drive will somewhat take a disc midway with some force then keep it and not recognize that there’s a disc inside (via no eject option). Best to assume the drives motor is bad and not working.
Speakers will crackle during the start up chime, tested sound options with clicks and button presses with the audio options and they sound fine, safe to assume the speakers can’t handle louder noises and need replacement as well
Missing mouse, keyboard, and bottom VGA cover (as seen in photos)
