LCD / Display Condition

The LCD was left operating continuously for approximately 35–40 minutes during testing.

During this test, the display did not develop the common “tunnel vision” effect sometimes seen on vintage PowerBook LCD panels, where the edges of the display gradually darken after the computer has been running for some time.

There are several known cosmetic/display imperfections that are clearly shown in the photos:

• One thin vertical line is visible on the LCD.
• Two small dark spots/dots are also visible on the display.
• The exact cause of these imperfections is unknown and they are being disclosed as part of the condition.

Other than these visible imperfections, the LCD remained stable during testing and displayed the operating system normally.

There are no cracks or obvious impact damage to the screen.

Please review the close-up photos carefully for the exact LCD condition.

Cosmetic Condition

This PowerBook is in very good cosmetic condition for a computer more than 30 years old.

The keyboard, trackball area, palm rest, display bezel, and interior surfaces are particularly well preserved.

There are some minor scratches, scuffs, and normal signs of age/storage, primarily on the exterior case. No major structural damage is visible.

The display hinges feel solid and operate properly with no significant looseness.

Please review all photos carefully, as they are an important part of the condition Apple
