This listing is for a genuine Apple Hard Disk 20SC (Model M2603), Apple's first SCSI-based hard drive, introduced in September 1986 at $1,299. The unit powers on and the drive spins up quietly. It has not been tested with a host computer, so it is sold as powers-on / untested beyond power-on. Compatibility: works with an Apple IIe or Apple IIgs equipped with a SCSI controller card, and with period Macintosh computers with SCSI (Mac Plus and later). Standard SCSI-1 interface with dual 50-pin Centronics connectors for daisy-chaining. Not usable with a stock Apple IIc (no expansion slots). SCSI cable, terminator, and controller card are not included.
