◆I confirmed that the printer enters standby mode properly.
As you may already know, when the power button is pressed on an Alps printer, the carriage moves through its normal startup sequence and then stops in standby mode.
The indicator lights shown in the photos represent this standby state.
In other words, operation up to this point has been confirmed without any issues.
I also performed this operation check again in preparation for listing it here.

◆I have never actually performed any printing with it.

◆As shown in the photos, most of the accessories remain sealed unopened. For the operation check, I used the cable from another printer I own, so the included cables and accessories remain untouched.

◆One thing I must mention is that the original print cassette that came with the printer was used for an urgent job, so unfortunately it is not included.

◆The difficult aspect of this printer is that the manufacturer has already ended support for it.
Also, the driver software originally only supports 32-bit PCs from Windows 98 through Windows XP, meaning only those with older PCs can normally operate it.
(I have heard there are unofficial methods to make it work on Windows 7 or 10 as well.)
Anyone new to this printer will also need to obtain the driver software separately through sales or other sources.
Therefore, I can only recommend it to people who own older PCs, can obtain consumables online, and are capable of researching various information themselves.

◆Although this printer is difficult to maintain, there are almost no printers available at the consumer level that can print white ink or metallic colors, which makes this still a very valuable tool.
For those who are currently using one and wish to continue using it for many years, this may serve well as a backup machine.
