I got this computer with a dead hard drive, upgraded the ram, put in the 2 new drives, scoured the internet for recovery media and drivers, and breathed new life into it.Fresh high performance thermal paste on both CPU and GPU.Replaced dead Cmos with fresh duracell CR2032.Only downside is original 12 cell battery is flat, not that you really got more than 30-60 minutes of mobile use out of this from the factory.

Open to reasonable offers. This computer is very hefty, coming in at a reported 8.5lbs though it feels like it weighs twice as much (I guess I am spoiled now with lightweight computers and have lost my sense of weight).
This is a very capable Windows XP machine, which could be further upgraded with a faster processor, second DVD drive, and Nvidia Gforce Go 7900/7950 (if you can ever find one). There is also one vacant PCI slot underneath the keyboard which you can install a TV tuner or bluetooth module, there may be other uses for the secondary vacant PCI port. The first port is occupied by the Wireless card.There is one battery for sale on , though at a cost of $200 it was not worth it for me to purchase.Absolutely 100% ready for early 2000's full HD gaming.Everything works as it should, keyboard is fully responsive, as is touchpad. Scrolling and special functions work fully.This is a later revision model, as can be seen by the 11V power adapter (much more desirable, runs cooler and more capable).
