Somewhere out there in the vast universe, whether there might be a planet teeming with life or whether indeed, it’s just us. People have wondered this question for thousands of years and the desire to seek out the unknown is a core human yearning, that’s why humans number from our earliest upright steps have endeavored to learn more about the world around us and extraterrestrial life.
One day, aliens appeared. They come from a faraway land no one has ever heard of, on amazing, strange ships and using dreamed technology. They spoke strange languages and brought strange beasts with them.
So, are our theories about life in outer space correct? Just imagine what it would be like when we humans have our first close encounter with an intelligent alien, who can gaze back, talk and sense our minds. We have materialized this scenario in this handmade artisan keycap. It took us years, countless ideas, and samples to finalize this design, making it a really impressive look and special feeling right under your fingertips.
The attractiveness of this keycap is the picture of a green alien and a person wearing a space suit conversing on the rough ground of a planet. We’ll have to hand-cast and paint all of the teeny-tiny characters. This procedure takes a long time to complete, especially when working with small items. However, the outcome is excellent, the characters appear lively and you can feel its unique power.

*****The process of making an artisan keycap is complicated, but we enjoy it….

We always produce the keycap characters by casting them through shaped molds. We do not have them easily printed in 3D and just like that, the keycap details come straight out of a machine. Everything is done by the hands of our artisans, preparing the molds, pouring resin, and coloring the details.

Ultimately, this painting step is hands down one of the hardest things we faced during the production of Hirosart. Pokemon molds in the collection are very small, so it’s very challenging to paint the Pokemon and keep them spirited as much as possible. We had to apply 3 - 5 layers of paint for each keycap so the colors can have a certain thickness and be clearer to our eyes.

Made from durable resin hand-painted in eye-popping colors by our artisans, each little toad is painted by hand to ensure it lives up to our high standards. This will obviously add some more inspiration to your work corner and keep you more creative to do what you love and love what you do.
