This is an ASUS BW-16D1X-U External Blu-ray Writer (16x, USB 3.0, "Turbo Drive" line), being sold for parts or repair.
Condition: Not working, incomplete. This unit was accidentally powered with a 24V power supply instead of the correct 12V, which caused heat/burn damage to the external USB interface board (EXT-S2H) near a connector (see photos). The internal drive control board is missing/not included (see marked photo). This unit is also missing some screws. Selling as-is for the mechanism, shell, and remaining components.
What's Included: Outer shell, internal disc mechanism (without its control board), external interface board (EXT-S2H, damaged from overvoltage), shielding plates, and ribbon cables.
What's NOT Included: The internal drive control board (missing, marked in photos). Some screws are also missing.
