This is a boxed coleco ADAM family computer with most of the pieces originally included in the box. We were unable to verify what is missing from it, but it does have everything you need to get started.

We tested this unit and were able to verify it works, but did not test every aspect, as our knowledge on this era of computers is limited.

The smartwriter does power up and supply power to the other units, and it does respond to keyboard presses when in the typewriter mode. However, it’s ability to actually write on paper was not tested.

The memory console works and responds. The cartridge slot works and is able to play games, and the controllers are tested working. I was not able to

Figure out how to get the cassette programs to boot, but the original owner claimed it was working.

The keyboard works great. All buttons respond, feels and looks almost new.

The box looks to be the original authentic box in pretty good shape, however the handle has been removed and the hole was taped over.
