This is a vintage 1992 Heath Physics Computer Test Bank set published by D.C. Heath and Company, designed to accompany the Heath Physics high school textbook. The set includes a 3-ring binder with the Teacher’s Guide and Archive III program manual (an item banking, test construction, and test printing system with graphic capability), along with two 3.5” floppy disks: Disk 1 covering Chapters 1-14 and Disk 2 covering Chapters 15-27. The software is compatible with Apple IIe, IIc, and IIGS computers as well as IBM and Tandy computers, and allowed teachers to select, edit, and print physics test questions correlated to the textbook. A piece of early 1990s educational computing history, of interest to collectors of vintage software, retrocomputing enthusiasts, or anyone teaching or studying the history of educational technology.
The binder is 10 1/2" x 11 1/2". Condition notes: binder shows some shelf wear and scuffing at the corners and spine, and has ink transfer on the back from storage (see photos). Pages and manual are clean and legible throughout. Floppy disks show no visible damage to the labels or media; functionality on period-correct hardware has not been tested.
