The ACTUAL modem chip was pulled out of a failed Cradlepoint device, but otherwise is FULLY standard and functional, this means when registered with your carrier it will show up as "CRADLEPOINT W2000 5GB" This is very helpful...
modem will load carrier firmware, currently loaded with verizon. supports all major carriers and generic! the files for this are freely(with login) available from sierra website. will flash whatever requested if you need.
