XFX Radeon RX 7900 XT 20GB Reference model.
PLEASE READ- The card is being sold as-is FOR PARTS/REPAIR, it does work but it is slow to post and does not run at full stock clock speeds.
Known Issue- Under GPU load, including gaming and benchmarking, the card will almost immediately hit 110C GPU hotspot temperature and automatically throttle (reduce) the power. It starts at normal clock speed, then it slows itself down to approx. 700mhz as the card heats up. There were no display artifacts or anything. It just gets hot and throttles down. All three cooling fans are working.
The card was disassembled and the factory thermal paste was replaced with a PTM sheet, and all VRAM and VRMs had their factory thermal putty replaced as well. These steps did not resolve the issue.
Please purchase with the understanding that the GPU is functional but overheating, but runs with reduced power and will likely require additional repair to be fully operational.
