The drive is used and it is not new. The drive has been tested with the following tests:
- S.M.A.R.T. test
- hdsentinel
- bad blocks (3-pattern write/read cycles)
- hdparm (disk write performance)
- dd (disk write performance)
The drive is completely wiped (erased) and is delivered without any partitions and unformatted.
Please, note, that you will have to create partitions upon your needs (which is very easy to do under Windows/Linux/Mac).The drive received "PASSED" on all tests. Please, note, that there might still be re-allocated sectors on the hard disk.
