Toshiba 1555CDS Laptop

Laptop is in good physical condition with a few scuffs, some yellowing, a small ding to one corner and minor dust. We purchased this from a local estate sale recently and only tested it briefly as described below. This is the extent of our knowledge.

CD drive does not eject or read a disc, its light flashes continuously. Main battery is dead so it needs to stay plugged in. CMOS battery was dead and gave an error originally but after being plugged in a few days seems to hold some charge. Its lifespan is unknown and it may arrive dead. Floppy drive, PCMCIA ports, and USB port are tested and working. All other ports are untested. Power jack has some corrosion but works fine. Keyboard and mouse work fine. Mouse has extra nubs (1 yellowed, 5 unused) as shown. Mouse buttons have some yellowing and tackyness. Screen is in good condition and the latch works.

We wiped the drive after testing to protect the prior owners info. It will need to be formatted and have an OS reinstalled. The last photos were taken prior to wiping the drive to show its details, it does NOT have windows on it currently.

This is the extent of our use. Sold as is, with its original power cord, inserts, manuals, discs (untested, moderate wear) and nubs. It may have undiscovered issues that we are not aware of. Please look at all the photos closely for more details.
