🖥️ LIFESTYLE & GIFT APPEALA great piece of late-1990s networking hardware for the retro-computing enthusiast, vintage PC builder, hardware collector, or period-correct restoration project.
At the heart of this card is Digital Equipment Corporation's recognizable 21140-AE Fast Ethernet controller from the DEC/Tulip family. Its full-size green PCB, PCI edge connector, socketed components, RJ-45 port, and dedicated status LEDs give it authentic vintage-computing character.
Suitable for collectors and builders looking for period networking hardware rather than a modern Ethernet solution.
Please verify motherboard PCI compatibility, operating-system support, driver availability, and network requirements before purchase.
📏 MEASUREMENTSApproximate size: Standard vintage PCI network adapter form factor. Please reference listing photos for scale and physical configuration.
🔎 CONDITIONPre-owned vintage condition with cosmetic wear consistent with age, previous installation, handling, and storage.
The photographs show the actual card offered. Please review them closely for PCB condition, PCI edge contacts, capacitors, sockets, RJ-45 connector, bracket, labels, and other cosmetic details.
The handwritten storage note identifies this as an "Intel 21140" adapter; however, the controller installed on the board is clearly marked Digital 21140-AE. The listing identification is therefore based on the physical controller markings rather than the handwritten note.
This card has not been functionally tested and is being sold as untested. No guarantee is made regarding functionality, driver availability, operating-system compatibility, network connectivity, or compatibility with any particular computer.
Includes the pictured PCI network card only. No drivers, software, cables, manuals, original packaging, or additional accessories are included.
