Up for sale is a highly collectible, original vintage 1989 Apple Macintosh Portable carrying case (Model M5130). This is the official bag designed specifically for Apple's historic first portable computer.
Details:- Exterior: Features the iconic vertical ribbed "Snow White" design language and a beautiful, fully intact vintage rainbow Apple logo badge on the front corner. Outfitted with 2/4 of the original hard rubber/plastic feet on the base.
- Interior: Multi-compartment design with document pouches and accessory sections. Features the original internal label reading "Macintosh Portable" and the factory tag "Inspected by Made in Taiwan R.O.C."
CONDITION NOTE (PLEASE READ THOROUGHLY):This vintage bag shows honest signs of age and long-term storage and is being sold strictly as-is:1. Zippers: One zipper track pull is broken/non-functional. Because it utilizes a dual-zipper closure style, the case can still be fully opened and completely, securely zipped closed using the opposite working zipper track pull without an issue.2. Shoulder Strap: The adjustable black nylon shoulder strap has a section of heavy fraying/shredding (see photos). It is still attached, but the material is weakened in that spot.3. Interior: Shows typical storage wear, including light dust, adhesive wear spots from original pads, and faint white chalky/faded discoloration on the black fabric inner pockets.4. Handle & Feet: The foam handle grip has a few small nicks/surface wear spots but remains fully intact. Two of the Four baseline plastic resting feet are firmly attached while two are missing.
