Up for sale is a nice Apple Macintosh SE FDHD (Model 5011).
The black and white CRT is crystal clear; great "color" and no bad pixels. The case, other than a few scratches at the handle on top and several minor discolored spots, is in very good condition.
Like virtually all early Macs the case is yellowed from age with two areas of discoloration: (1) the original color shows through on the case at the lower right corner of the screen from a cartoon sticker that had been applied, and (2) there is an approximately 1 ½' dark square on the right side of the case, where a stick on mouse holder had been attached. I included pictures of each of these defects.
In addition, neither the floppy drive (FD) nor the hard drive (HD) are working. They did at one time but no longer. They will need to be repaired or replaced. The floppy drive repeatedly trys to read an inserted disk with no luck and the hard drive refuses to spin up.
A power cord will be included.
Keyboard or mouse are NOT included.
For shipping the Mac will be double boxed with lots of bubble wrap, packing paper and plastic pallet wrap.
