This uninterruptible power supply can protect you from power surges, outages, and fluctuations. Acting as a backup power source for when your main power supply goes down. It will switch anything connected to it to internal battery power to keep things running.

This would be great for homes that rely on medical equipment or have other critical needs that require a constant supply of power without interruption.

It is new in its box . The Sale date was 2014 so it may need new batteries or it might not as I don't know if they go bad.

In any case you can get a new set of batteries on for $40. The only other one that was new in its box that I could find is on for 800 plus shipping.
