It has a padded main compartment as well as multiple other zippered pockets and organizer pockets. Comes with an adjustable strap with leather shoulder pad. I believe it is for a 14" inch or 15" inch laptop. I have a 15" inch laptop and it fits fine inside this bag, it is a little tight to get in, but it fits and is solid and sturdy once inside.
