Restoration / Service Performed
During the restoration, the machine was:
- Completely disassembled
- Case thoroughly cleaned
- Upper case Retrobrighted
- Keyboard removed and cleaned
- Individual keycaps cleaned
- Motherboard thoroughly cleaned
- ICs inspected/reseated where appropriate
- Switches and contacts treated with DeoxIT D5
- RF/video connector inspected and repaired
- Loose RF/video connector fully desoldered and reflowed
- Flux/corrosion residue cleaned
- Machine reassembled
- Final operating tests completed
The previously intermittent/flickering video connection was corrected during the repair process.

Theoriginal Tandy/Radio Shack box is included.
Please note:
- Original Styrofoam inserts arenot included
- Part of thetop of the box is missing/damaged
- Box shows age, storage wear, and general vintage condition
The box is included primarily for originality/display value and should not be considered complete packaging.
Cosmetic Condition
The computer presents very well after restoration but is still a genuine vintage machine more than 40 years old.
Expect normal age-related marks, scratches, discoloration, and other cosmetic evidence of use.

Important Power Cord Disclosure
The original attached AC power cord has an area whereliquid electrical insulation has been applied over possible previous damage to the outer cord jacket.
The computer has been extensively operated and tested with this cord and it is currently functioning normally.
This condition is being disclosed clearly so there are no surprises. A future owner may choose to replace the power cord for cosmetic reasons or additional peace of mind.
