Super Socket 7 FIC motherboard and K6-III CPU retro DOS Windows 98 gaming combo
Price: US $150.00
This is a motherboard/cpu combo that should cover a pretty wide range of 90\'s PC gaming. Board has an AGP gen 1 slot, 3 PCI slots, and 3 ISA slots, so you can install a wide array of retro gear into this single board. It also has the convenience of integrated USB support, AT and ATX power supply inputs, and two different RAM types.
It\'s been a while since I used the board, but I recall flashing a custom BIOS to it to make the CPU work properly.
Includes a 32GB SSD with an IDE adapter with Windows 98 and DOS 7.22 preinstalled.
You are going to want to use a PS/2 compatible keyboard if possible with the machine, since it is pretty picky about keyboards. Mouse works via USB in Windows, but it can be pretty choppy (as expected on a platform this old).
Includes:FIC VA-503+ motherboard (Baby AT form factor)PS/2 and USB breakout cables and IDE cablesAMD K6-III 450 CPU with heatsink/fan128MB RAM32GB SSD (with IDE adapter)
