I am looking to part with my 12" MacBook from 2017. This is the highest end spec that Apple ever produced of this model, featuring a 1.4GHz dual-core i7 CPU, 16GB of memory, and a 512GB SSD (which shows up as 500GB). The computer is in great working condition with some minimal signs of use. There is a ding in the top lid (pictured) that is purely cosmetic.
About a year ago, the audio on the computer stopped working. The audio cable, which is a common failure point on these machines, was replaced with a high quality replacement, and when the computer was being repaired, the common thermal mod was done to the machine, which reduces CPU temperatures by using thermal pads to conduct heat to the bottom case along with the heatsink. This dramatically reduces throttling of the CPU and makes common web browsing much better.
Battery health is still good. I have listed the total number of cycles in one of the pictures.
Included with the machine will be a USB-C power adapter and USB-C cable along with the pictured computer shell (clear).
Thanks for looking, and let me know if there are any questions.
