Here is a PERFECTLY GOOD Seagate Enterprise drive. This is a 7200 RPM Drive, so it’s seek and write times are super fast! It has been reformatted and Block checked, and passed all the tests I did, so it should perform as it did new! This is the Version 4 of this drive. - FAST and ROCK SOLID!
Im sure you can find all the specs for this drive online, but in case someone didn’t know, Enterprise drives are built better because they are designed for heavier use - like in a server room on for 24/7 - I didn’t use this like that, and just wanted the best and fastest drive that I could get in the 4TB size - and this was it!
Barracuda drives used to be their best drive - but I have found over the years, that they are fast, but they don’t hold up anymore… their Enterprise drives have to pass more rigid demands in order to be considered this class, so these are as fast as the barracuda’s, but made to last longer…
Having said all that, this is a used HD - it was not used that much, but it could last you 10 more years, or 10 days… I never had an Enterprise drive fail, but it’s still being sold AS IS and as stated. - Thanks
