These drives are individually sealed with serialized tamper proof seals from IBM.They're meant to go with an IBM Slicestor 2448. Each drive will come with a caddy, but can be easily removed and used elsewhere.I sacrificed the seal from one, which isn't being sold on this listing to get the SMART data.The one drive showed 7 power on hours and 9 power on counts. I can only assume this was to provision the drives for use in the matching Slicestor's before shipping them separately. As such, I am advertising these as new, because they were never deployed in any production and are sold as new from the manufacturer.
