Please check the thickness first: this drive is 15mm tall. It will NOT fit most laptops or 7mm / 9.5mm drive bays. It suits desktops, NAS enclosures, USB enclosures that take 15mm drives, and servers with 2.5-inch bays.

Seagate BarraCuda 4TB 2.5-inch SATA 6Gb/s, model ST4000LM024 (P/N 2AN17V), 5400 RPM. This model uses SMR (shingled) recording: excellent for storage, backups and media, but not a good fit for RAID arrays that rebuild often or for ZFS.

Tested, October 2026. Every drive passed a full SMART extended self-test (a complete surface read) with 0 reallocated sectors, 0 pending sectors and 0 uncorrectable errors. Power-on hours across this lot: about 18,200-21,400. These are bare drives pulled from a storage array, not shucked from USB enclosures.

Wiped before sale. The SMART report for the drive you receive is included with your purchase; the report shown in the photos is for the drive in the label photo.

Sold as tested working pulls. No-returns listing; Money Back Guarantee still applies to items not as described.

You receive one drive (buy as many as you need; all are from this same tested lot). Drive only, no caddy or cable. Ships from Minnesota in an anti-static bag inside a padded box.
