Item Listing: 15" MacBook Pro A1707 LCD Screen AssemblyCondition: For parts or not workingColor: Space GrayReturns: No returns accepted (Sold AS-IS)Item Overview
Up for sale is an original 15-inch Apple MacBook Pro (Model A1707) LCD Display Screen Assembly in Space Gray. This assembly is being sold strictly AS-IS for parts or repair. The screen powers on and the backlight fully illuminates, but it does not display an image (functional glow on a black screen). This is highly likely a variation of the well-known "Flexgate" design flaw, where the video data lines on the integrated display ribbon cable have fractured or worn out from opening and closing the lid.Item Details & DefectsThe Issue: Backlight works, but there is NO display/image output. Likely needs a Flexgate video ribbon cable repair/splicing.Physical Damage: There is a minor crack on the plastic trim / "MacBook Pro" logo bezel at the very bottom right corner. The actual LCD panel glass underneath is completely fine and uncracked; the physical damage is isolated strictly to the thin cosmetic lower bezel.Cosmetic Condition: The aluminum top casing shows standard wear and tear from use, including surface scratches and normal corner wear. Please examine all photos closely to verify physical condition.CompatibilityModel: MacBook Pro 15” (A1707)Years: 2016 - 2017Color Match: Space GrayTerms of SaleSold AS-IS: No warranty, no functionality guarantees. No Returns: All sales are final.Intended Use: Perfect for component harvesting, microsoldering practice, repair shops, technicians, or DIY casing swap projects.
