UPS and FedEx require original packing to be able to process a claim. I am not responsible for items damaged in shipping where the buyer does not keep proof of shipping damage. We are all at the mercy of the carriers to some degree. It is one of the reasons I use FedEx primarily. UPS has been more likely to damage items and less likely to pay claims in my experience.
