This listing is for one used ASUSTOR AS5202T, 2-bay, NAS unit. It is fully functional. No drives are included. I’ve upgraded to other hardware to fit my increased needs and it has been sitting unused for some time. A few months ago I updated its oem OS and tested it, with everything working OK.I previously updated the system’s memory to it’s 8GB max (see pics) with Crucial Ballistix memory modules (2 x 4GB). I am also including the OEM 2GB DDR4 module as well. Both the 2 x 4GB and just the 1 x 2GB modules appear properly in the BIOS screen when installed.I have left the unit as close to “from factory” as possible and you will need to install a drive into the unit for it to proceed with installing the ASUSTOR OS and proceed with setting it up.Updated firmware as of 8/28/2026 and left in uninitialized state, ready for a new owner.Details from Asustor and other websites:Hardware SpecificationsCPU

Limitations to Keep in Mind
10-bit HEVC/H.265: The UHD Graphics 600 implementation on the lower-end J4005 lacks full fixed-function hardware decoding for 10-bit HEVC (unlike some of its quad-core Gemini Lake siblings like the J4105/J4125 in specific configurations, or it falls back to heavy CPU/hybrid processing). Playing or transcoding high-bitrate 10-bit 4K HDR HEVC files will heavily load or max out the dual-core CPU.
AV1: No hardware decode or encode support (AV1 acceleration requires 11th Gen Intel Core or newer)
