Router Requirements:
Your router must have built-in or added MoCA capability for optimal network connections. Most FiOS routers come with MoCA built-in. Each device (up to 16) requires a MoCA Adapter, and rooms with coax jacks will need an ECB for Ethernet. Always check coax MoCA compatibility.
Device Compatibility:
This MoCA adapter works seamlessly with most devices and routers equipped with an ethernet port. However, be aware that some DOCSIS 3.1 modems may experience conflicts (frequency overlap) leading to random disconnects. Consult your ISP for solutions.
Non-Compatibility:
Please note that this MoCA ethernet to coax adapter is not compatible with Direct TV, Dish or other satellite TV services, AT&T internet, or AT&T U-verse coax networks. Comcast only supports MoCA 2.0 with Xfinity XB8; ensure to disable MoCA in your Comcast gateway to fully utilize the capabilities of the ECB6250 and ECB7250 Adapters.
