I recently came across a very large collection of very old PCB boards in an abandoned storage unit. A lot of these came in original plastic sleeves and seem to be unused in application, although still show oxidation, dirt/dust/ rust,etc. These were in a fairly dirty unit, but these were sitting in their own boxes and ARE all pretty clean and good condition. I did some research on forums, and the most information I could find on the multidate systems company/ some of this hard ware was the following. This may apply to some, all, or none of the pcbs in this sale. This is just what i could find based on researching these boards.\"These are boards for a mini-mainframe to run bespoke radiation monitoring systems. The company was based in MO and started in 1979.They expanded into radiation dosing software, including calculating shapes for radiation shielding for patients soDosimetry was more accurate and more focused on the area that needed treatment.Multidata Systems made one mistake: they didn’t check input data with software verification, resulting in a number of deaths from over-exposures. At least 8 died and 20 more received life-changing over-exposures.\"
A number of these appear to be labeled on the board with texts such as
\'MULTIDATA\' , \"SYSTEMS\" and some brief description of function, things like \'CPU\', \'I/O Extender\', \'Disk Controller\', \'Direct Access Channel\', \'Impact Line Printer\', \'Teletype\', \'Etc\'
These boards are to be considered junk, or for use for art, projects, etc. I only say this to assure my buyer has no complaints or misconceptions. Im sure these could still be used for fixing old hardware, etc, but again, these are untested, some are dirty, and I give NO GUARANTEE on the quality or condition on these. I have A LOT of these, and a lot of different ones not pictured. I am just testing the waters to see what these are worth to someone.
