Thanksfor your interest!
Thisis a T420 laptop with the typical, very high build quality of thebusiness-class ThinkPad line.It features an Intel i5-2540M CPU anda nice, bright 1600 x 900 display in excellent condition with no hot or deadpixels or any other imperfections, which is driven by an NVIDIA NVS 4200M GPU.It also has a Samsung PM851 256 GB mSATA Solid State boot drive plus a new 750GB Toshiba 2.5" Hard Drive for extra storage, 16 GB of RAM, an excellent usedOEM battery, and the legendary ThinkPad keyboard (which on this particularThinkPad model is arguably the best laptop keyboard ever made). This computer runs the latest version ofWindows 11 Pro very well, is quick and responsive, and will be ready to use byits new owner right out of the shipping box.
Lenovo90W AC adapter/charger.
Thebuilt-in Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6205 wireless adapter works flawlessly onboth the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands. The T420 also has a standard Ethernet networkport on the left side for a wired connection.
Thislaptop came to me in very nice cosmetic condition, but I replaced the battery, replaced the original hard drive with a good used Samsung 256 GB mSATA SSD,upgraded the RAM to 16 GB, and added a new (old stock) 750 GB Toshiba harddrive in the 2.5" bay for extra storage. As usual, I also applied afresh coat of Aortic MX-4 thermal compound to the CPU to help it run cooler andcleaned the computer inside and out. Windows 11 Pro version 25H2 64-Bitis installed and digitally activated, along with all driver and system updatesfrom Microsoft, Lenovo, and Intel. The computer has also been thoroughly testedincluding the battery and all ports and features.
Aboutthe Battery:most sellers on do not take the time to test batteries, but I always do afull rundown test to make sure they are in good condition before I offer alaptop for sale. This laptop has an excellent, used Lenovo OEM batterythat still holds over 100% (!) of its design capacity and my testing shows thatwhen starting with a full charge, it will run this laptop for about 6 hours(depending on how it is used of course).
Forsake of completeness
Thislaptop is not new and does show some minor signs of prior use.Ithas some light scuffs and marks on the exterior case and light shine on severalkeys. However, there is nothing broken, missing, or cracked, and the overall condition is way above average for a used T420.Please see the pictures I have included in this listing, all of which are ofthis laptop and are not stock pictures.
Buyer:I amfairly confident that no one on does a better job of refurbishingThinkPads, but If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, PLEASEcontact me before opening a case or leaving negative response. I willrespond quickly and do my best to resolve any issues in a polite andprofessional manner.
