Convert disc image files such as D88 and 2D formats into a format that can be handled by this unit and put them on an SD card.
This is a great device for retro PC enthusiasts, as it can be recognized by a PC as a real floppy disk and can be read and written to, especially at a time when floppy disks are facing a critical end to their useful life.
This product is a set that includes wiring, boards, settings, etc. specifically for the PC8801SR series to make implementation easy.Remove the communication and power cables from both original FDDs, and replace them with the original FDD sockets and power sockets.
Just plug it in and you can use it. It\'s about as difficult as installing a HDD in a modern desktop PC.All parts are brand new.
*The bezel fits perfectly on SR, FR, MR, and TR. FH, MH, FA, MA, and MA2 have a small gap at the top.The connection cable is homemade using new parts. The DIP switch on the HxC main unit is also set to match this connection method.
For the cable edge board side, the soldering part is hardened with a glue gun later for strength consideration, so it looks a little bad.
Please understand that this is a safer option. The power conversion cable is a commercially available one.I have put some configuration files and sample images for running HxC on the 8801 series onto a brand new 32GB SD card.
The converter, explanatory text, and explanatory images are also included on the SD card, so please move these to your PC and use them as reference.As shown in the photo, the product includes the HxC main unit + bezel, SD card, and as a bonus, tie wraps for fixing the wiring.
