HPE ProLiant MicroServer Gen10 with AMD Opteron X3421 (4 cores, up to 3.4 GHz), 32 GB DDR4 and an Intel X550-T1 10 Gigabit Ethernet card. Tested and working. Sold without hard drives.
INCLUDED- MicroServer Gen10 chassis with internal power supply and power cord, plus the drive mounting screws (stored in the front door)- 32 GB DDR4 (2 x 16 GB Crucial DDR4-2666 UDIMM)- Intel X550-T1 10GbE RJ45 network card, installed in the PCIe slot- HPE 8 GB USB stick with openmediavault 8.5.9 freshly installed and fully updated, omv-extras and the write-cache plugin added. Web login and root password come on a card in the box.
NOT INCLUDED: hard drives, network cables, monitor cable, original box.
TESTED- Boots and runs openmediavault from the included stick; system information shows the X3421 and 32 GB.- The Intel X550 links at 10 Gb/s (verified under Linux: Speed 10000Mb/s, link detected). 1 Gb/s works as well. The chip also supports 2.5 and 5 Gb/s, but that needs driver configuration and was not tested.- Both onboard Broadcom 1 GbE ports work.- BIOS is set to legacy boot for the OMV stick; switch to UEFI if you install something else.
GOOD TO KNOW- Four 3.5-inch non-hot-plug SATA bays, all empty.- This is the Gen10, not the Gen10 Plus. It has no iLO.- The OMV stick is a working starting point, not a requirement. TrueNAS, Proxmox or plain Debian/Ubuntu run fine on this box.- Cosmetic condition: normal signs of wear, really good condition overall. See photos.
