Built for a UPS load

A BP24V pack is there to add runtime: when the power drops, the UPS pulls a heavy current from the 24V string inside the pack to carry the load until the equipment shuts down cleanly. A general-purpose 12V 7Ah battery fits the same tray, but its voltage sags under that draw, so the runtime you bought the pack for comes up short and the unit flags a battery fault early. These are built for it:

• High-rate discharge plates - the HR series is rated for the short, heavy draw a UPS puts on the string, not the slow drain of an alarm panel, so the full runtime is there when the power goes out
• Two matched batteries, one string - one weak battery limits the whole string, so both batteries are load tested on Midtronics equipment before they ship and the pair goes in together
• Standby-duty chemistry - built to sit on float charge for months and still deliver on the day it is needed
• Ready to install on arrival - both batteries ship fully charged, so the pack is back on line as soon as it is reconnected to the UPS
• 2-year free replacement - from High-Tech Battery Solutions directly, with battery technicians on the other end of your fit: This is an Origin Battery TRIP-BP24V-OR kit, sold as a replacement - the brand name and model numbers above identify the Tripp Lite battery packs these batteries go into. Every pack listed is a guaranteed fit, backed by the 2-year free replacement warranty.
