🔧 Kind Reminder – Printhead Installation & Ink Flow Instructions
After installing the printhead, you may notice small gaps or missing lines on the test page.
This is completely normal — the ink needs some time to flow smoothly.
🛠 Recommended Steps: Deep Cleaning Procedure
Please follow these steps on your printer:
Press Settings
Go to General Setup → Press OK
Select Maintenance → Press OK
Choose Print Head Cleaning → Press OK
Select:
🔘 Black only
🔘 Colour only
🔘 All → Press OK
Choose Cleaning Strength:
🟢 Normal
🟡 Strong
🔴 Strongest
Press Start – The machine will begin cleaning the printhead.
🕒 After Cleaning:
Leave the printer powered ON and idle (do not use it)
Let it sit for at least 6 hours
After the waiting period, print multiple test pages
✅ In most cases, print quality will return to normal
🔁 Still Not Perfect?
If minor imperfections remain, perform a second deep cleaning cycle.

🔧 Troubleshooting & Installation Precautions
Please read carefully before purchasing or installing a new printhead. Proper handling can prevent damage to your printer and extend the life of your printhead.
❗ 1. Red Light Flashing When Powering On
This does not necessarily mean the printhead is faulty.
➡ The issue may come from the printer frame or mainboard.
✅ Please fix any error codes or system issues before replacing the printhead.
❗ 2. Printer Does Not Detect Cartridges
This is often due to a blown fuse on the mainboard.
🔧 Solution: Replace the mainboard or its fuse.
🔍 3. Check the Data Cable
Before installation, check if the data cable is:
🔥 Burned
⚡ Corroded
🚫 Loosely connected
A damaged or unstable cable can burn the printhead and the mainboard.
✅ Please ensure your cable is in perfect condition before proceeding.

Machen Sie sich keine Sorgen, wenn Sie eine Testseite drucken und feststellen, dass einige Zeilen fehlen. Dies kann darauf zurückzuführen sein, dass während des Transports Luft in das Druckkopfrohr eindringt oder dass Luft in den Tintenpatronen oder im Continuous Ink System (CIS) eingeschlossen ist.
Wenn Sie ein CIS (Continuous Ink System) verwenden, stellen Sie bitte sicher, dass es mindestens 2 cm höher als der Drucker positioniert ist. Es kann sein, dass Tinte in die Tintenpatronen ausläuft und der Druckkopf anschließend in den Standby-Modus wechselt. Stellen Sie das CIS nach 2 Minuten auf das gleiche Niveau wie der Drucker ein, versuchen Sie, den Druckkopf zu reinigen, und Sie sollten eine Verbesserung auf der Testseite feststellen, wobei einige Linien erscheinen. Wenn Sie sofort einen hochwertigen Druck benötigen, fahren Sie mit der Reinigung fort. Wenn die Druckqualität akzeptabel ist, lassen Sie den Drucker eingeschaltet und im Standby-Modus. Nach 24 Stunden sollte sich die Qualität verbessern. Je weiter Sie drucken, desto besser wird die Qualität.
Wenn Sie Tintenpatronen verwenden, schalten Sie bitte den Drucker ein und lassen Sie ihn im Standby-Modus. Versuchen Sie nach 24 Stunden, die Druckkopfreinigungsfunktion auszuführen. 30 Minuten im Standby-Modus, Druckkopf reinigen, weitere 30 Minuten im Standby-Modus, Druckkopf erneut reinigen und diesen Vorgang wiederholen. Sie werden feststellen, dass sich die Druckqualität mit jedem Zyklus verbessert.
