Travel straight back to 2005 and the absolute golden era of portable PC computing with an authentic, durable road warrior: an original Dell Inspiron B130 (Model PP21L) 14.1"/15.4" Widescreen Notebook PC!
Sporting Dell's iconic mid-2000s two-tone Arctic silver and textured midnight-black chassis, the Inspiron B130 was built like a tank to serve as a reliable daily battlestation. Powered by an authentic Intel Celeron M processor clocked at 1.50GHz, 512MB of DDR2 RAM (504 MB recognized after shared video allocation), and an internal 60GB Western Digital Scorpio SATA/IDE hard drive (52.8 GB formatted NTFS C: partition with over 39 GB of free space), this notebook runs a clean, authentic installation of Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition (Version 2002, Service Pack 3) complete with the classic default Dell desktop wallpaper.
For retro PC gamers, vintage tech archivists, and collectors, a native bare-metal Windows XP laptop is the gold standard for running turn-of-the-millennium PC titles. It completely eliminates modern OS DRM blocks (SafeDisc/SecuROM), 16-bit installer crashes, DirectDraw resolution issues, and audio driver incompatibilities that ruin classic games on Windows 10/11. It natively runs era favorites like Diablo II: Lord of Destruction, The Sims, RollerCoaster Tycoon 1 & 2, StarCraft: Brood War, Half-Life, Warcraft III, Age of Empires II, Civilization III, and classic PopCap games.
Equipped with an internal LG/HL-DT-ST CD-RW/DVD-ROM optical combo drive, built-in Broadcom Wi-Fi wireless networking, front-facing stereo speaker grilles, side-mounted USB 2.0 ports, 3.5mm headphone/mic jacks, ExpressCard expansion, and native analog VGA video output (ideal for connecting directly to external CRT monitors or vintage 4:3 LCDs), it delivers a pure 2005 portable computing experience.

Condition Notes
Functional Condition: 100% bench-tested and fully operational. Boots cleanly and swiftly into Windows XP Home Edition SP3. The Intel Celeron M 1.50GHz CPU runs cool and quiet, memory tests healthy, and the Western Digital 60GB hard drive reads and writes cleanly. The LCD screen is evenly backlit with clean contrast and sharp text. The keyboard keys, touchpad, USB ports, and optical drive function properly, and the onboard Broadcom Wi-Fi detects wireless networks (taskbar indicator active). Please note: Due to the age of vintage laptop lithium-ion battery cells, prolonged runtime on battery power alone cannot be guaranteed; the system operates reliably when plugged into the included AC power adapter.
Cosmetic Condition: Great vintage condition overall. The Arctic silver keyboard deck and matte-black outer casing are structurally solid with intact hinge tension and no cracked structural plastic. Shows light, normal cosmetic surface marks, faint edge wear, and minor hairline scuffs consistent with careful handling and vintage age. The display panel is clean and free of cracks. Original palm rest badges and underside regulatory labels remain intact and legible. Please review the high-resolution photos for an exact look at physical condition.
