If you want to use them as a storage disk you must you must notch them or reformatted them. Sometimes Atari shipped them Formatted Single density and sometimes they shipped them in double density.
These diskscame from Atari in bulk and are brand new. They can be used on Atari 810, Apple II, Commodore 8-bit and older PC compatibles when notched and re-formatted.
