**Zorin 18 and Mint 22 both being Ubuntu-based have manysimilar features and each has some unique features, but are quite differentdesktops – these two are constantly compared and often it boils down topersonal preferences. The dual boot isbasically set up to equally share a 256gb SSD drive so each OS is approximately125gb with plenty of sufficient drive space for each OS for any casual user. It’s like having two laptops in one! The 1tb SDXC storage card shares files thatcan be accessed by either Zorin or Mint so that’s a tremendous advantage. When the laptop boots, the user is presentedwith a menu to choose the OS – it’s as simple as that! Otherwise each OS is oblivious to each other– only the 1tb SDXC card is shared by both operating systems.** 125gb in Linux OS goes a long way vs. 125gbin a Win11 OS!

**Note that unlike many Inspiron 3537s for sale on E-bay,this one is not only in great overall condition, but includes 8gb DDR3L memory (maximumfor this machine is 16gb but 8gb is more than sufficient for Linux) and A LOTof storage + a fresh Zorin 18 Education & Mint Cinnamon 22.3 install + a 65Wgenuine DELL AC adapter. This laptop is upgraded to a *NEW* Samsung PM851256gb mSATA 2280 drive (instead of the OEM mechanical hard drive) and a 1tbSDXC storage card for a total of 1.25tb of storage!** Like most Inspiron laptops this laptop DOES NOThave a fingerprint reader or an NFC sensor.**This one alsohas an 8X DVD/CD+/-RW Drive** Ihave all Dell documentation & manuals for this laptop downloaded on thedesktop for the buyer’s convenience! This machine is very clean with minimal wear and surfacescratches and fully functional. The screen is in excellentcondition with nothing to deter the resolution. I take pride in repurposing these oldermachines that still have plenty of life in them when not pushed beyond theirreasonable limits. It includes a higher capacity 6-cell 65Wh batteryin very good condition at 76% health, a good CMOS battery (was replaced ifneeded), and also a GENUINE DELL 65W AC power adapter. **I haveelected not to replace the battery in this one as there’s plenty of life leftin it and the replacement batteries are very inexpensive (even the 6-cell 65Whversions) and simply “pop-in” batteries requiring no disassembly of thelaptop.**
