Claim status: The serial is locked to a prior organization and will not accept a claim to a new dashboard. Meraki Support cannot release a device claimed by another organization, and no factory reset or firmware procedure changes this. It cannot be cloud-managed, configured, licensed, or monitored.

What it does: Powers on and passes traffic in its default state — [fill in exactly what you verified, e.g. "tested with two clients, confirmed link and connectivity on copper ports"]. PoE and SFP function [tested / untested — fill in]. No VLANs, no port config, no management interface, no dashboard visibility.

Buy this if you want inexpensive basic switching, lab/bench hardware, or parts. Do not buy this if you need a working Meraki cloud-managed switch.
