The RAID controller coordinates them and groups them together to manage read and write access.The component’s manufacturer for the brand Broadcom (previously LSI) is Avago. The controller offers a PCIe x8 3.0 port as well as 8 internal ports for SATA or SAS drives via 2 miniSAS SFF-8643 ports, the matching cables are included in this bundle. The RAID controller is universally compatible with all known brands.
