Picture shows a Silver Label Basic cartridge with a Brown Basic cartridge shell. This sale is for the Silver Label Basic Cartridge which is Rev C. The old Brown Label Cartridge was Basic(Rev A) and is not included in this sale. Atari never sold Rev C Basic as a packaged cartridge but sold the chips in the parts department and built into them 65XE/130XE, XEGM and a few late 800XL computers.

Rev A Basic has a minor bug which almost never caused problems. Rev B. was shipped in the XL Computers fixed that bug but introduced a new bug which was much worse than the one it fixed.

This cartridge, Rev C does not have those bugs. When you plug a Basic cartridge into an Atari computer XL/XE with built in Basic the cartridge replaces the internal Basic.
