This adapter and cable allow you to use your Atari ST computer with a TV or Monitor (with a speaker) that has HDMI input. It gives you a color picture and sound.
This is the best way I have found to use my Atari ST without an original Atari ST color monitor (My died).
Supports Atari ST computers that have a 640x200 color output via a 13pin din socket. I have tested it with my Atari520ST, , 520STFM, and1040STF.NOT suitable for Atari 520STE & 1040STE which have separate audio output jacks. Itdoes not support the Mono High Resolution mode.
The SCART to HDMI cable is not long as it is designed for the converter to sit near the computer. You can then use an HDMI cable of various lengths depending on how far away the TV or Monitor is.

Note: There are 3 settings buttons on the converter. They must be set as Follows:1. Input set to SCART2. Resolution set to 720P3. Video type set to NTSC.I test each unit and make sure the setting are correct, but if a button is pressed inadvertently you will need to adjust the settings. When you push a button the on-screen display will show if it is on SCART input and NTSC. You will need to keep pushing the resolution button until you see the Atari St screen.
