I would use the term re-furbished but will not let me use refurbished, so I used the term NEW OS. I have completely gone throughthe machine. Cleaning it, cleaning the cooler assembly. Re-pasting the processor.Upgrading the hard drive to SSD from HDD. Installing the OS and support software andupdates. Added some free games to play. And most of all I’ve created a boot-able memory stick to reinstall Windows 10 if needed, and a folder to reinstall thebrowsers, Open Office, and the games. So, if your machine gets blasted you havea pretty easy fix. I could have put 11 on this machine but there are somedownfalls to doing that and it is just not worth the trouble it will causelater.

There are now ways to get around the security that were aproblem. Microsoft offers an extension for 10 now, $30 for a year. VPN’s, SecureBrowsers are a few options.

Just remember that nothing is fool proof so protection foryour machine is still important I use and recommend Malwarebytes. There is an installfile if you wish to test it for free for 14 days. In this way you get the full useinstead of if I installed it at setup the trial would be most likely expired. Machinesare completely setup and ready to go no password needed. Price includes a little labor to refurbish system. Upgrade to SSD, cooler and 5Xs faster. This is a heavy duty laptop in excellent condition. I think is would make a great work station. Gamer fro kids. Excellent graphics. This station exhibited the problem this line of laptop showed, with the case becoming sticky after curing. It took time, I have cleaned it so ti is not a problem here. As with ANY laptop you buy I highly recommend A good laptop cooler. Will make it last longer.All my work is guarantied. I'll take a Hard Drive snapshot of your unit on run hours. If your unit does not run long enough, I'll make it right with you. I feel they will run a very long time.
