Description
Apple Power Macintosh 7200/90, tested and working.
The computer boots successfully from its original internal SCSI hard drive. I installed a clean copy ofMac OS System 7.5.3and loaded a few period games/software for testing. It boots reliably and I was able to run software normally.
Tested / confirmed working:
- Powers on and boots normally
- Internal SCSI hard drive works
- Clean System 7.5.3 installation
- Video output works
- Keyboard/mouse input works
- Software launches and runs normally
- 8 MB built-in RAM; approximately14.9 MB total memorywith virtual memory enabled
- Internal logic board appears clean
Not tested:
- Internal CD-ROM drive
- Internal floppy drive
- Other ports/functions not specifically mentioned above
IMPORTANT – PLEASE READ REGARDING CASE CONDITION
The computer is tested and working, but the exterior case plastics are in poor condition and have become extremely brittle with age. There are cracks, broken mounting tabs/clips, missing pieces, and areas where the case panels no longer fit together correctly. The rear/top portion in particular has significant broken plastic.
I have included detailed photos with the case both assembled and opened so the condition is clearly visible. Please assume the case will need repair or replacement if cosmetic condition is important to you. Because the plastic is extremely brittle, additional cracking or breakage could potentially occur during shipping despite careful packing.
Internally, the machine is substantially better preserved. The logic board and internal components appear quite clean, and the original internal hard drive is functioning.
