WHAT WORKS:- Powers on, boots to Startup Options and macOS Recovery- 14" Liquid Retina XDR display works, no cracks or dead pixels observed- 512GB SSD, securely wiped (no data, no OS installed)- USB keyboard/mouse work in Recovery- Third-party battery replaced July 2026- Removed from Apple ID, no Activation Lock
KNOWN ISSUES:- Built-in keyboard and trackpad unresponsive- Hardware-level sleep fault: system sleeps every few seconds, even in Recovery (likely logic board / sensor issue)- No macOS installed; boots to Recovery only
COSMETIC:- Overall good. Lid has 1 small white dot stains and one small black surface stain (not scratches). and 1 white dot stain inside.See photos.
