  • ⚠️ Critical Note:These two slotscannot be used simultaneously. Plugging drives into both slots at once will result in only one drive being recognized by the system.

• Interface Definition Clarification:

  • Important Distinction:mSATA isnotequivalent to a 1.8-inch Mini SATA drive. Please ensure your drive is a true mSATA form factor.

1. Mini PCI-E Slot (mSATA Definition Only)
Mini PCI-E SSDs share an identical physical connector but utilize three different pin definitions. This card isONLYcompatible with themSATA definition(often associated with Intel standards, commonly found in Lenovo/ThinkPad machines).

• Not Compatible With:

  • SATA Mini PCI-E:ASUS-defined interface (often found in ASUS EPC and some tablet PCs).

  • PATA (IDE) Interface:Dell-defined interface (e.g., Dell Mini 9).

2. M.2 NGFF Slot (SATA Protocol Only)
M.2 SSDs are governed by three primary protocols: SATA, NVMe PCIe x2, and NVMe PCIe x4. This adapter card isONLYcompatible with theSATA protocol.

• Not Compatible With:NVMe PCIe protocol drives (regardless of lane count).
