Here is a 12" monochrome monitor made for Digital Equipment Corp. (DEC) on April 11, 1985. It is a VT220 which displays white text. There is a handle underneath for raising the back for a different viewing angle on the desk.
When powered on, it displays a keyboard error unless a DEC LK201 or:LK401 keyboard is connected to the RJ11 port in the back. The brightness and contrast controls are still working. I don't see any text or lines burned in to the screen. There is no broken plastic, but it has yellowed considerably.
Local pickup in zip code 60438 is free. Shipping charges are calculated by without any charge added for handling or packing materials. I will tightly wrap the monitor in cardboard, then in bubblewrap before placing it in a larger box with spacers.
